A 1950s satin and lace wedding gown with long lace sleeves, worn by her grandmother decades before. For this bride, wearing her grandmother’s gown had always been part of the dream.

Rather than working around the existing silhouette, the gown was carefully deconstructed so its lace could be removed, restored and preserved for the new design.
